Mini, Demi, Full. Motiva's profile names are easy to remember, but the numbers behind them are what make a comparison useful.
The selected examples below come from the Round table in the FDA-hosted US physician labeling dated September 26, 2024. They are a dated reference, not a complete current catalog or stock list.
Read a profile column correctly
In this chart system, a base-width row can contain several profile options. Each profile has its own projection and volume.
That means you can compare devices at the same width without assuming they have the same CC.
Here are selected Round entries:
| Base width | Mini volume / projection | Demi volume / projection | Full volume / projection |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11.50cm | 245cc / 2.8cm | 300cc / 3.9cm | 355cc / 4.7cm |
| 11.75cm | 260cc / 2.8cm | 320cc / 3.9cm | 375cc / 4.8cm |
| 12.00cm | 275cc / 2.9cm | 340cc / 4.0cm | 400cc / 4.9cm |
| 12.25cm | 290cc / 2.9cm | 360cc / 4.0cm | 425cc / 5.0cm |
| 12.50cm | 310cc / 3.0cm | 380cc / 4.1cm | 450cc / 5.1cm |
| 13.00cm | 360cc / 3.1cm | 425cc / 4.3cm | 500cc / 5.3cm |
| 13.50cm | 400cc / 3.2cm | 475cc / 4.4cm | 550cc / 5.5cm |

A worked example at one width
At a 12.00cm base, the selected Round table lists Mini at 275cc, Demi at 340cc, and Full at 400cc.
Projection rises from 2.9cm to 4.0cm to 4.9cm. Volume rises at the same time.
So choosing Full instead of Mini in this example isn't simply adding projection while keeping volume unchanged. The devices differ by 125cc as well.
That is a useful calculation for understanding the table. Whether any of these options fits you is an examination question.
A worked example at a similar volume
You can ask a different question by comparing these selected entries:
| Profile | Volume | Base width | Projection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | 400cc | 13.50cm | 3.2cm |
| Demi | 380cc | 12.50cm | 4.1cm |
| Full | 400cc | 12.00cm | 4.9cm |
Mini and Full match in listed volume. The Demi example is close, with 20cc less.
The comparison shows how similar amounts of volume can be spread across different widths and projections. It doesn't tell you which shape your own tissue can accommodate.
This is why “400cc Motiva” is incomplete information.
Round and Ergonomix need separate identification
The US document has a second sizing table for Round Ergonomix.
Some dimensions overlap, but the constructions differ and the tables don't contain an identical set of all entries.
Record the design name even when dimensions match. Don't infer a missing Ergonomix size from a Round row or use an international Ergonomix2 chart as a replacement.
The design comparison explains why shared measurements don't make two devices identical.
What about Corsé
Corsé appears in international Motiva information. It isn't a profile column in the US reference tables reproduced here.
That distinction concerns the source and market. It shouldn't be turned into an assumption about every future product update.
If Corsé or another name appears in your consultation, ask for the current US documentation for the exact device and procedure.
Mini doesn't promise a subtle result
Profile names are categories within a product system.
Mini can still involve a volume and width that look substantial on a particular frame. Full can be part of different overall volumes and starting anatomies.
Use the dimensions and your surgeon's assessment to interpret the label.
If you prefer a subtle change, describe the change you want rather than selecting Mini by name alone.
How to use the chart in an appointment
Ask your surgeon to mark the options they consider suitable.
Then compare either similar widths or similar volumes, one question at a time. Write the full design and device identifier beside the measurements.
Ask which differences you might notice in the front view, side view, and ordinary clothing. Also discuss what comes from your starting tissue and any additional procedure.
A useful chart conversation ends with a small, understandable shortlist. It doesn't require you to find the perfect row on your own.
Keep the source attached to a saved number
If you save “340cc Demi” from this guide, also save that it comes from the Round table in the 2024 US labeling. Without that context, the number can easily become mixed with a different design or an international chart.
For a consultation shortlist, replace the reference with the exact current model supplied by your practice. Add the intended side if your two breasts have different plans. That small habit makes later comparisons much more reliable.
